The naturally aspirated 4.5-litre V8 produces 570 hp. With no turbochargers between your right foot and the engine, the response is immediate, while the sound builds with revs from a deep note into the high, intense V8 character for which the 458 Italia is known.
The engine sits behind the two seats and ahead of the rear axle. This mid-engine layout shapes both the compact silhouette and the direct driving feel. Its performance deserves respect, so the best first kilometres are about smooth steering inputs, measured throttle and getting familiar with the car.

The low nose, flowing side profile and rear with three central exhaust outlets carry Pininfarina's design signature. Our car is finished in Rosso Corsa with a black interior and carbon details. The LED shift lights in the steering wheel are among the details you will get to know during the handover.
Your first drive: get comfortable and build confidence
You sit low, look out over the shallow nose and have the key controls directly on the steering wheel. Before you set off, we explain starting the car, gear selection, reverse, driving modes and the main displays. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission can shift automatically, or you can select gears with the paddles.
A short accompanied test drive gives you time to become familiar with the steering, brakes and throttle response. When manoeuvring, we also take time to cover the car's width, low front end and long doors. Your booked rental time begins only afterwards, when you set off with the Ferrari.

Confirmed terms
Insurance, excess, mileage allowance, security deposit and return conditions are confirmed before booking. The security deposit is separate from the insurance excess.
Requirements: minimum age 21, a valid driving licence and a refundable security deposit. Pickup in Nänikon is included; delivery, mileage and any additional charges depend on the selected rental and agreed handover location.
