Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you visit luxuryobsession.ch, contact us, or request and book a rental. It applies to our website and to communication via email, phone and WhatsApp.

Personal data we process

  • Website usage and technical data: IP address, browser and device information, date and time of access, referring page and logs generated by hosting and security services.
  • Inquiries and booking requests: name, email, phone number, preferred dates, package, pickup and delivery preferences and any message content you send us.
  • Contract and compliance data: information needed to conclude and execute the rental contract, for example identity and driving licence details, age verification, address, signatures, payment and deposit records and correspondence about fines or incidents.
  • Vehicle handover documentation: photos and checklists taken at pickup and return, for example condition of the vehicle, mileage, fuel level, time and location.

Purposes and legal basis

We process personal data to answer inquiries, prepare and confirm bookings, conclude and perform the rental contract, provide customer support, comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and assets.

Vehicle security and tracking

For theft prevention and asset protection, the rental vehicle may be equipped with security devices such as a GPS tracker and, where applicable, a dash camera. If such devices are in use, we process the related data only for security, incident handling and enforcement of contractual and legal claims.

Cookies and similar technologies

On your first visit, you can decide which optional cookies and storage functions may be used. Google tags load with storage denied by default. Without your consent, they do not read or set analytics or advertising cookies; however, they send cookieless measurement signals for aggregate reporting and modeling.

  • Essential storage: We store your language preference and cookie choice in local storage and use a necessary first-party cookie as a fallback. Session storage can retain the choice during the current browser session. We ask you to renew your cookie choice after 180 days.
  • Cookieless measurement: Without consent, information such as consent status, timestamp, browser and device details, referral source, page viewed, full page URL, a random number generated for each page load and, where present, ad-click parameters such as GCLID or WBRAID may be sent to Google. Analytics and advertising cookies are not read or written.
  • Analytics: With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 with Analytics cookies to understand website usage and improve our services.
  • Advertising: With your consent, we use Google Ads Conversion Tracking with advertising storage to measure and optimize our advertising. Depending on the Google Ads account settings, data may also be used for audience measurement and ad personalization.
  • Third-party content: Embedded or external services may receive technical data and set cookies or similar identifiers when they are loaded or when you interact with them.

Google Analytics and Google Ads

Google Analytics and Google Ads are services provided by Google Ireland Limited. The cookieless signals described above may be processed even without consent. After you consent, additional information such as pages viewed, device and browser data, referral source, interactions, cookie identifiers and conversion events may be processed. Google may transfer and store information on servers outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, including in the United States.

We use the advanced implementation of Google Consent Mode v2. All storage and advertising purposes are denied by default and enabled only according to your choice. To improve advertising measurement while advertising storage is denied, URL passthrough may carry ad-click information in parameters between pages on the same domain. We do not enable additional ads-data redaction, so the full page URL and any ad-click parameters may be included in cookieless measurement requests even though analytics and advertising cookies remain disabled.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. When consent is withdrawn, existing Google cookies are deleted where technically possible; for future processing, Google tags return to the cookieless, denied state.

For more information about Google’s data processing, please see the Google Privacy Policy. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.

Third party services and transfers abroad

Depending on how you use the site, personal data may be processed by third parties, potentially outside Switzerland. This includes Google Fonts, Google Maps, YouTube, OpenStreetMap and Leaflet resources delivered through unpkg, WhatsApp, hosting and security providers.

Retention

We store inquiry and booking related communication for as long as needed to handle your request and to comply with legal and accounting requirements. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer required.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise your rights, please contact us using the details above.

Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The current version is published on this page.
