Zurich Airport handover and arrival planning

Flying into Zurich? Send your flight number, arrival time, rental dates and onward plans. We agree a meeting point and allow time for documents, the vehicle briefing and a short familiarisation drive before your booked driving time begins. Delivery is arranged in advance; there is no unattended airport rental desk.

In 2026, Zurich Airport handover costs CHF 50 for the three-hour package and is included from six-hour packages. The 458 has two seats and limited luggage space. Tell us about your bags before booking so we can discuss a practical arrival plan. Hotel parking should have a suitable, accessible space without a steep entry ramp. See our Zurich Airport rental page for the handover location.

Delivery locations and fees

These are the published handover charges, added to the rental where applicable. They are not a promise of delivery at any hour or to every address. We confirm the precise meeting point, return arrangements and any additional logistics costs in writing.

Two days or a week: itineraries beyond Zurich

48 hours: Lake Zurich, Zug and Lake Lucerne

After handover, follow a relaxed route from the Zurich region towards Zug and Lucerne, with a lakeside stop and an overnight stay near Lake Lucerne. On the second day, choose a local lake or foothill drive before returning with time to refuel. Depending on detours, allow roughly 300–450 km in total. Weekend Escape includes 48 hours and 500 km for CHF 1’990; the 800-km option costs CHF 2’790.

Several days: an Andermatt alpine base

In the open-pass season, spend the arrival day travelling to Andermatt and use a separate day for Furka, Grimsel and Susten. Our 72-hour customer journey shows how a longer rental can work. A 72-hour period is quoted individually. Weekday Privilege, Monday to Friday with 700 km for CHF 2’480, offers another way to create time for weather adjustments within the rental.

A full week: lakes, Graubünden and a flexible return

Begin around Lake Zurich and Walensee, continue towards Chur and choose a base in Graubünden. In suitable conditions, a drive towards the Engadin can form part of the trip. Keep a day without a long transfer, then return through lower valleys towards Central Switzerland and Nänikon. A route of roughly 900–1,300 km can fit the full-week package with 1,300 km for CHF 4’480, depending on your detours.

These are itinerary ideas, not guided tours. Hotels, meals and activities are booked separately. Check our Swiss alpine driving guide for pass closures, seasonal timing and alternatives. Mileage includes every part of the rental, including the return journey.

Requirements for international visitors

  • Age: the minimum driver age is 21. Tell us your age and driving experience when you enquire so we can confirm the applicable requirements.
  • Documents: provide a valid driving licence and passport or identity document for review, plus your address and contact details. Bring the originals to handover. Your licence must be valid for driving in Switzerland; ask us before booking if an international permit or translation needs to accompany it.
  • Deposit: CHF 1’500 for drivers aged 25 or above, or CHF 3’000 for ages 21–24. It is separate from the rental price and is not the same as the insurance deductible. The deposit method and rental conditions are confirmed in writing.
  • Booking: payment is in advance, with written acceptance of the agreed conditions. Additional drivers require prior confirmation.
  • Route: standard rental is for Switzerland. Cross-border travel requires written approval before departure; it is not automatically included in a Swiss road trip.

The handover includes a briefing and short familiarisation drive. Return the Ferrari at the agreed time with Super 98 fuel as required by the rental terms. We discuss the applicable insurance cover, deductible and exclusions before the booking becomes binding. See the rental terms and package details.
